Draft Days Set for Majors/3A/2A

Drafts for VLL's spring 2023 Majors, 3A and 2A programs will be held as follows:

Majors: Tuesday, February 21
3A: Wednesday, March 1
2A: Wednesday, March 8

Drafted players should anticipate hearing from their coaches within 48 hours of the draft. Pre-season practices will commence shortly thereafter for each level.

Players who are not drafted at the level they requested should expect to be drafted at the next level down. (No player will be drafted at a level lower than their spring 2022 level; it is not uncommon to repeat a level across two spring seasons.) All players ages 10 or above will be placed at one of our draft levels.

Formation of 1A teams will begin after the 2A draft. Lower levels will proceed in cascading fashion. We anticipate all teams will be formed by approximately March 19, if not sooner.
