State Champions

The AL 11's All-Stars won the Virginia state tournament culminating in a championship game victory over York County 3-0. The Big Red Machine scored a run in each of the first two innings and then added an insurance run in the top of the 6th. Pax L. and Adam K. led the team on the mound by pitching a combined 6-inning shutout. 

In the top of the first the team had 3 consecutive singles by Pax, Case and Ryne, with Ryne driving in Pax for what would be the run that secured the state championship. The run in the second inning was on a sac fly by Bradley driving in Carson. The insurance run in the 6th saw Carson hit a line drive to score Adam M. 

The team finishes the state tournament with a perfect 5-0 record, outscoring opponents by a total of 50-7.
