The NL 10’s All-Star team captured the District 4 championship with a 12-2 win over Reston/Herndon NL. With the victory in the finals, the NL 10’s completed district play with a perfect 7-0 record.

In the finals, the team scored 12 runs on 12 hits with 8 RBIs and leading the way were Connor E. who ripped 3 doubles and drove in 3 runs and Kyle H. who had 2 hits, 3 RBIs and scored 2 runs. Adding to the plate power were Mitch W. and Miles N. who both had multiple hits and scored 2 runs each. On the bump, Chuck C. started the game and pitched 3 innings surrendering 1 hit and 2 runs while striking out 3. Owen H. took the mound for the last inning to secure the win and he allowed no hits and no runs with one strikeout.

The NL 10’s All-Stars advance to the Virginia State Tournament and will represent District 4 in Lynchburg in early July. This is manager Josh Cilman’s second straight District championship as he led the Majors All-Star team to the title in 2021.
