The Majors Town Tournament championship game is scheduled for tonight at 7pm on Crabtree. The game features the AL Champion White Sox v. the NL Champion Twins.
The White Sox advance to the title game after an exciting semi-final (AL championship) game against the Red Sox. Sean C. helped deliver the title to the White Sox with a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 6th. The White Sox won the game 3-1 to claim the AL championship.
The Twins beat the Reds 6-2 in the NL championship game on the back of their starting pitcher Owen O. who went 4 2/3 innings giving up 2 runs on 6 hits and striking out 10. On the offensive side Jerry went 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs, including knocking in the go-ahead runs in the top of 5th.
Based on this reporter’s predictions, the anticipated starting pitchers for tonight’s title game are James B. for the White Sox and Nate H. for the Twins.
