Majors Results
The AL and NL championship games did not disappoint. The White Sox secured the AL championship and a spot in the Town Tournament final by defeating the Red Sox 3-1. The Twins beat the Reds by a score of 6-2 to win the NL championship.
The Twins and White Sox will meet on Wednesday, June 8th at 7pm for the Town Tournament Championship at Crabtree.
The AL championship ended in dramatic style as Sean C. walked it off for the White Sox with a 2-run HR in the bottom of the 6th. The final score was 3-1.
The Twins bested the Reds in the NL championship by a score of 6-2. The Twins put on a late surge by scoring 2 runs in the top of the 5th and again in the top of the 6th. With the score tied at 2, Jerry hit a line drive to left field to knock in what would the winning run.
The teams met once going back to the opening game of the spring season with the White Sox securing the victory by a score of 10-6.
