Opening Day Ceremonies

What a great morning at Yeonas Park for the 2022 Opening Day Ceremonies. The day started with a parade of 88 teams onto Nance Field. VLL is grateful to the many special guests in attendance, in particular the VLL alumni who currently play at local high schools.

VLL recognized many achievements and honors, including:

• 2022 Honor Roll inductees: Sean Toole, Sang Han and Mike Abundo
• 2022 Friend of VLL awardee: Dr. Geordy Gantsoudes
• 1972 VLL team that competed at the Little League World Series
• 2021 AL 10's All Star State Championship Team
• 2021 Intermediate State Championship Team
• 2021 NL 12's All Star District 4 ChampionshipTeam
