| A Special Note to the VLL Community:
As you may have heard, there was a significant fire at the home of Jon and Leslie Dunlap (Carrhill Road in Vienna) on Monday, March 1st.
Thankfully - Jon and Leslie, as well as their children Noah, David and Maddie, were not home at the time of the fire and they are all safe. Sadly, the family dog, Fort, was killed and the Dunlap's have lost all of their possessions. Their house has been left severely damaged and is uninhabitable.
The Dunlap's are staying with friends in the interim, and their neighbors, friends and members of the community are working together to volunteer their time and resources to assist the family in whatever way possible. There are two (2) ways to support this effort and help the Dunlap family.
First, a community website has been established, through their church, to allow friends and volunteers to sign-up and add their talents and resources to this worthy effort. Please go to – http://www.lotsahelpinghands.com/c/623848/ - and sign up.
Also - People seeking to help can inquire through the Carriage Hill Civic Association. Two (2) neighbors are coordinating assistance for the Dunlaps in their neighborhood. Please contact Vicki Healy (
) or Nancy Sheehy (
).
Together - with our thoughts, prayers, friendship and talent – our community can help the Dunlaps recover from this terrible event and rebuild a lifetime's worth of possessions and memories. Please consider joining this worthy effort. Thank you for your support.
