New Membership Meeting Dates & Times

New Membership Meeting Dates & Times

All families or players that are playing in Vienna Little League for the first time must attend ONE of the following meetings. 

The purpose of the New Membership Meetings are to ensure you reside within the Vienna Little League boundary area as well as verify the age of new players.

The meeting will take place on the following dates and times.  All times are from 6:00 to 8:00pm however, we try to spread out arrival times by last name to help manage and lessen wait times.
Note: you need not attend the entire time, as soon as you present your information you are free to go.

Wed. Jan 11:   Last name beginning with   A-H 6:10   I-Q 6:30   R-Z 7:00
Wed. Jan 18:   Last name beginning with   A-H 6:10   I-Q 6:30   R-Z 7:00
Wed. Jan 25:   Last name beginning with   A-H 6:10   I-Q 6:30   R-Z 7:00

All meetings will be held in the Valliere Room at Yeonas Park.

New Members must present one of the following to verify age of the player:
- a birth certificate
- passport
- governmenet issued id card 

In addition, 2 of the following must be presented to verify residency:
- a driver’s license or government issued id
- utility bill from the last 2 months,
- voters registration card

2 of the above must be presented to verify residence within the VLL boundary requirements.

2012 Bat Rules from Little League International

VLL Families, below is a copy of an email regarding the new bat rules for the upcoming 2012 season.

Dear Little League District Administrators and Local Little League Presidents,

As noted in our e-mail message yesterday, we have posted an announcement regarding upcoming changes to the bat rules and specifications for the 2012 season.

Little League is taking this step, before the rule books are actually published in December, to give parents and leagues a timely "heads up."  Please take this opportunity to forward this message to others in your district/league, and post this announcement on your district/league web site and social media pages.

All VLL families can update their contact information: addresses, phone numbers and e-mails at any time. Here's how:

1) Click on the 'Edit My Account' button at the bottom of the lower left hand menu options.
2) Enter your e-mail address and password. (Don't know your password, just read the instructions above the data entry box.)
3) Click on any family member's name and you will have access to change what you need.
